Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site doesn't set any of its own, and nothing tracks you for advertising.

The short version

This site sets no cookies of its own.
Visitor numbers come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies.
There's nothing to accept or decline, so there's no cookie banner.

Analytics without cookies

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't store anything in your browser and doesn't build a profile of you. Cloudflare explains how it works at cloudflare.com.

Other things your browser stores

These aren't cookies. They're kept only for your current visit and cleared when you close the tab:

jimos-booted: skips the JimOS start-up screen if you've already seen it.
jimos-notif: stops the WhatsApp pop-up appearing more than once.

Cloudflare, which protects the site, may also set a short-lived __cf_bm cookie (30 minutes) to filter out bots. It's needed for security.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings at any time.

Links to WhatsApp, Stripe and other sites take you to services with their own cookie policies.
